Basketball Recap: King City Takes a Loss

King City lost against Stewartsville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The King City Wildkats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 52-39 to the Stewartsville Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildkats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King City's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Stewartsville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King City will host North Andrew at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King City is on a four-game streak of home wins, North Andrew a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Stewartsville, they will welcome South Holt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
