Basketball Recap: Assumption Comes Up Short

Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 70-22 loss at the hands of the Walker Wildcats. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Assumption's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Walker, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Assumption has already played their next matchup, a 64-24 defeat against University Lab on the 3rd. As for Walker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 78-62 loss against Dunham on the 2nd.
