Even though the Community Christian Eagles scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, the Columbus Christian Crusaders still came out on top. Columbus Christian walked away with a 64-55 win over Community Christian. That's another feather in the cap for Columbus Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Peyton Walden was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 29 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Columbus Christian's points. Jayden Howe was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Columbus Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Community Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
