Football Recap: Pacelli Comes Up Short

The Pacelli Cardinals had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Aurora Central Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacelli will face off against Edgar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 1.7 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they will take on Living Word Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Timberwolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
