Softball Recap: St. Johns Country Day Takes a Loss

St. Johns Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Conquerors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

St. Johns Country Day saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Geli Yepez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

St. Johns Country Day's record now sits at 3-7. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, St. Johns Country Day will head out to challenge Peniel Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will host Parsons Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parsons Christian Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.55 runs per game on average), something Trinity Christian Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of.
