Basketball Recap: West Mesquite Comes Up Short

West Mesquite was the 52-40 winner over Adams when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The West Mesquite Wranglers fell to the Adams Cougars 41-36. The Wranglers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Artiss Harris was her usual excellent self, putting up 24 points for Adams.

West Mesquite's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Adams, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

West Mesquite will host Wilson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Adams, they will take on Spruce at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
