Baseball Recap: Walker Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Walker took on Ruston on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 4-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Walker is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Ruston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Walker will be playing at home against Zachary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ruston, they will take on St. Charles Catholic at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
