It was a good run, but The Riverdale Baptist Crusaders unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 18-7 to Friendship Collegiate Academy. While losing is never fun, Riverdale Baptist can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 38th in Maryland, while Friendship Collegiate Academy is ranked third in District of Columbia).

Friendship Collegiate Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Brown out in front who picked up 122 receiving yards and a touchdown. Brown's longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards. Brenton Toles was another key contributor, throwing for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Riverdale Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2.
