Baseball Recap: Galt Takes a Loss

Galt extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 5-12 in the process. They fell 5-0 to the Liberty Ranch Hawks. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

As for Liberty Ranch, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games.

For Liberty Ranch's part, not much got past Vance Moe, who gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks to keep Galt off the board.

At the plate, Garrett Owen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Nolan House, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

While Galt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
