Volleyball Recap: The Gregory School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Gregory School lost against Benson back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20.

Emerson Myers paced The Gregory School's offense, picking up 11 kills. Myers got some help from Lauren Horowitz and her 21 assists. Horowitz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The Gregory School's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Benson, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

The Gregory School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Patagonia on the 26th. As for Benson, they will square off against Willcox at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
