Basketball Recap: Katz Yeshiva Comes Up Short

Katz Yeshiva was the 80-74 winner over David Posnack Jewish Day when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Katz Yeshiva Storm lost 65-43 to the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams on Tuesday. The game marked the Storm's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Katz Yeshiva now has a losing record at 4-5. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Katz Yeshiva will venture away from home to face off against Highlands Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highlands Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Katz Yeshiva likes a good challenge. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will take on Jewish Culture at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Jewish Culture's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
