Marlboro came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the St. John-Vianney Lancers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since May 5th.

Marlboro's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for St. John-Vianney, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-2.

Marlboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Barnegat on the 20th. St. John-Vianney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
