Baseball Recap: Riverside Christian's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Riverside Christian was feeling good fresh off their 13-4 takedown of Walla Walla Valley Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders came up short against the Goldendale Timberwolves on Wednesday, falling 14-2.

Riverside Christian's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Goldendale, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Riverside Christian will be playing at home against Touchet at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Goldendale, they will square off against Asotin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Timberwolves 3.2, the Panthers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
