There's no place like home for Perkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Sandusky Blue Streaks on Thursday. The Pirates not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 24th (when they won 18-4).

The win snapped Perkins' losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-9 record. As for Sandusky, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Perkins is taking a road trip to square off against St. Mary Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Sandusky, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clyde at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
