Basketball Recap: South Umpqua's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

South Umpqua won the last time they faced Coquille and things went their way on Tuesday too. The South Umpqua Lancers walked away with a 51-41 victory over the Coquille Red Devils. The win was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got South Umpqua back to even at 9-9. As for Coquille, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14.

South Umpqua will host Glide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Umpqua is facing Glide at the right time seeing as Glide is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Coquille, they will venture away from home to challenge Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
