Soccer Recap: West Charlotte Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Charlotte lost against Independence back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 5-0 to the Patriots. While losing is never fun, West Charlotte can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 435th, while Independence are ranked 109th).

This is the second loss in a row for West Charlotte and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1. As for Independence, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

West Charlotte didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Mallard Creek on the 11th. As for Independence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Chambers on the 11th.
