Baseball Recap: Tri-County RVT Gets the Win

While Tri-County RVT put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Blue Hills RVT. The Cougars came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 5-0. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The result came thanks to Joey Thomas's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Tri-County RVT is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise.

Tri-County RVT now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Blue Hills RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2-1.

Looking ahead, Tri-County RVT will challenge Upper Cape Cod RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blue Hills RVT, they will take on Southeastern RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
