Volleyball Recap: Brevard HEAT Comes Up Short

After flying high against Space Coast on Monday, Brevard HEAT came back down to earth. The Firehawks came up short against the Satellite Scorpions on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Brevard HEAT ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Satellite found their leader in freshman Cady Tinch, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Brevard HEAT's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Brevard HEAT and Satellite will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Firehawks are set to face off against their familiar foe Calvary Chapel Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Satellite will take on rival Merritt Island at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
