Soccer Recap: West Iredell Falls to Huss in First Game of Season + How To Watch

West Iredell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Huss Huskies by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. One reason for the loss might be West Iredell's aggressive play style: three West Iredell players were handed yellow cards.

West Iredell wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Alexander Central on the 15th. As for Huss, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Shelby on the 18th.
