Baseball Recap: Hardin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hardin and Central Heights squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hardin had to settle for second. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 13-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered since March 1st.

Trevor Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Hardin and nudges their season record down to 16-10. As for Central Heights, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

Hardin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Heights, they will challenge New Waverly on Thursday.
