Volleyball Recap: Sandwich Falls Despite Big Games from Rylee Huml and Khloe White

Sandwich lost against Woodstock North back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sandwich was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Sandwich had strong showings from Khloe White, who had eight digs and two aces, and Rylee Huml, who had ten digs and one assist.

Sandwich's loss dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Woodstock North, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season.

Sandwich will be playing in front of their home fans against Mendota at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodstock North, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
