Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Takes a Loss

Pawhuska was the 36-28 winner over Dewey when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Bulldoggers by a score of 48-45 on Monday. Huskies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldoggers since Monday.

Pawhuska's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dewey, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Pawhuska won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dewey will be paying especially close attention to the Huskies' contest: after the Huskies face off against the Mustangs, they'll take on Dewey again at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th.
