Volleyball Recap: Reed-Custer Comes Up Short

Reed-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Streator Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13.

Reed-Custer's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Streator, they pushed their record up to 15-7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Reed-Custer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Manteno on the 2nd. As for Streator, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Coal City on the 2nd.
