Basketball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Harlan lost against Williamsburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Harlan Green Dragons received a blow as they fell 72-58 to the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets. The Green Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Williamsburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.

Coming up, Harlan won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harlan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harlan County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Harlan likes a good challenge. As for Williamsburg, they and Cordia will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
