League recap: Booker scores huge upset over LaBelle

The biggest upset of the week belonged to LaBelle, who took down 348th ranked LaBelle, 27-0.

Dunbar extended the longest winning streak in 4A District 6 this week by beating Clewiston, 40-30. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Tigers.

Lake Placid's dynamic duo of Robert Walton and Truknown Johnson proved tough for Avon Park to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Walton threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns and Johnson had 73 yards receiving. Ricky Miller helped Lake Placid's passing attack out by catching three balls for 56 yards.

Daniel Cobb was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 149 yards on 14 carries as Dunbar topped the Red Devils. Marquise Bryant also contributed to the rushing game with 75 yards on the ground.

Dunbar's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cobb has thrown for 966 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Johnell Barnes has 22 catches for 358 yards. Cobb also leads the league in rushing with 635 yards.

A big matchup in 4A District 6 this week will be when Lake Placid takes on the Tigers. Jason Holden's team is currently in third, while Clewiston is in fourth.

Booker moved up to 341 from 420 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Tornadoes climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Cowboys 27-0.
