Basketball Recap: Apostolic Christian Extends Winning Streak to Five

Apostolic Christian had won four straight games and Brady Wilson did his part to make it five on Friday. Apostolic Christian enjoyed a cozy 69-55 victory over the Cleveland Christian Crusaders thanks in part to Wilson, who went 10 of 15 from beyond the arc on his way to 36 points and five steals. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Milstead, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave him a new career-high.

Apostolic Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Cleveland Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Apostolic Christian is taking a road trip to take on Tennessee Christian Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleveland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
