Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the O'Connor Eagles. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for O'Connor, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Liberty is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountain Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, O'Connor will face off against rival Boulder Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
