Research Triangle is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Triangle Math & Science a 9-0 shutout on Friday. The win continues a trend for Research Triangle in their matchups with Triangle Math & Science: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Franklin Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Falls Lake 9-0. Considering Franklin Academy have won 11 matches by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Falls Lake from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Olivia Olarte led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Franklin Academy's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those eight games. As for Research Triangle, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10-1.
