Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Uvalde). They never let the Poteet Aggies get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Friday. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls)'s defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their offense was hitting Poteet from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Diego Granados led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Uvalde pushed their record up to 10-6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for Poteet, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.
