Soccer Game Preview: James Lick vs. Evergreen Valley

The James Lick Comets will head out to take on the Evergreen Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (James Lick has three straight wins, Evergreen Valley has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

James Lick will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against San Jose on Friday. James Lick blew past San Jose 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those eight contests. As for Evergreen Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
