Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hilton Head Christian Academy played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 68-27 loss at the hands of the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Ethan Foster and Joseph Houpt. Foster posted eight points, while Houpt scored four points.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamauri Hunter, who had ten points and eight assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristen McCleary, who went 5 for 6 en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

Hilton Head Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilton Head Christian Academy will challenge Patrick Henry Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they will take on Hammond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
