Football Recap: Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys vs. Wall Eagles
Lemmon/McIntosh and Wall squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lemmon/McIntosh had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The game marked the first time this season in which the Cowboys were not able to get on the board.
Wall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Volmer out in front who threw for 120 yards and four TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. What's more, Volmer racked up 165.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Jace Mohr was another key rusher, rushing for 117 yards and a pair of scores.
Lemmon/McIntosh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wall, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
