Hercules is 0-5 against Saint Mary since April of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Titans will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Hercules has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Hercules came up short against Salesian College Preparatory on Tuesday, falling 12-5.

Chace Tennyson and Kaylan Montgomery did some serious damage despite the final result: Tennyson got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one double, while Montgomery went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Tennyson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cameron Solis, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
El Cerrito typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Saint Mary's proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Gauchos by a score of 6-1.
Damien Nolan made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Nolan was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Logan Donoviel was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Ronan Gardner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.
Hercules' loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Saint Mary's, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hercules has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Saint Mary's struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hercules couldn't quite get it done against Saint Mary's when the teams last played back in March of 2025 as they fell 10-7. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
