Baseball Recap: Alto Comes Up Short

Alto lost against Joaquin back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Alto Yellowjackets fell 6-1 to the Joaquin Rams.

Gaige Glover made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double. Another player making a difference was Braydn Westbrook, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Alto's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Joaquin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Alto will host Centerville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Joaquin, they will face off against Lovelady at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
