You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Leesville Road's strategy against Cardinal Gibbons on Tuesday. The Leesville Road Pride beat the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 64-38. The Pride have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Leesville Road's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mattie Matonic, who went 7-for-13 en route to 17 points and three steals. Matonic is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Fulk, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 11 points along with six assists and five steals.

Leesville Road has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points over those games. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they dropped their record down to 9-16 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
