Softball Recap: Rudder Comes Up Short

Rudder fell victim to College Station and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-0 to the Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Rudder's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for College Station, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Rudder wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-3 loss against Brenham on the 21st. As for College Station, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Lake Creek on the 21st.
