Recap: Perrin-Whitt Pirates vs. Archer City Wildcats
The Perrin-Whitt Pirates lost against the Archer City Wildcats back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Perrin-Whitt fell just short of Archer City by a score of 47-44. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Perrin-Whitt in their matchups with Archer City: they've now lost three in a row.
Archer City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addy Peters out in front who scored 16 points along with four steals. Peters is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Serenity Jones, who scored 15 points.
Perrin-Whitt's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Archer City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
Perrin-Whitt's road trip will continue as they head out to face Covington at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th. Covington comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Archer City will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Electra at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
