Softball Recap: Niagara Falls Beats Kenmore East for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Niagara Falls never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Kenmore East Bulldogs with a sharp 8-0 win. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Niagara Falls, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kenmore East, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Niagara Falls will be playing in front of their home fans against Lockport at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.33 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kenmore East, they will take on North Tonawanda at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
