Softball Recap: Sun Prairie West's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sun Prairie West entered their tilt with Homestead on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Highlanders.

Reagan Hunley was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Brynn Borchert was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Hunley wasn't the only one making solid contact: Sun Prairie West kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Sun Prairie West's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Sun Prairie West will take on Stevens Point at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Homestead, they will head out on the road to take on Cedarburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
