Basketball Recap: John Walker's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lake Country Classical Academy over Abundant Life

On Thursday, the Lake Country Classical Academy Sentinels lost to the Abundant Life Challengers on the road by a 80-64 margin. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Sentinels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Walker, who on his way to 18 points and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Ryan Low, who to rack up 18 points.

Lake Country Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Abundant Life, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Lake Country Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-52 win against Palmyra-Eagle on the 22nd. Abundant Life has also already played their next matchup (against Pecatonica), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
