While Monday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Dakota O'Brien. She wasn't messing around on Monday, putting up 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. The match was also her third straight with 15 or more points.

Looking ahead, O'Brien and McDonald County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty will enter the matchup having just beaten South Pemiscot, so McDonald County will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
