Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 68-44 to the Fayetteville Bulldogs. The contest marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Fayetteville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Rogers will take on Bentonville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayetteville, they will host Bentonville West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Bentonville West likes a good challenge.
