Volleyball Recap: Maple River's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Maple River and Minnesota Valley Lutheran, and Maple River kept the tradition alive. The Eagles came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Maple River's win bumped their record up to 7-14-1. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-1 record this season.
