Soccer Recap: Wheeling's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elk Grove, Wheeling was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Senn Bulldogs 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Wheeling as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Krystal Diaz and Kim Rufino scored all three of Wheeling's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Wheeling's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Senn, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheeling will challenge Buffalo Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Senn, they will square off against Chicago Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
