Hamilton-Wenham Regional lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Georgetown, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Generals' pitchers stepped up to hand the Royals a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The Generals' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Georgetown, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
