Softball Recap: Eureka Takes a Loss

Eureka blew Fredonia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Fredonia got their revenge. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 16-14. Even if the Tornadoes couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Eureka's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fredonia, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Yellowjackets beat Eureka by a score of 11-1 later that day.
