Basketball Recap: Epping Takes a Loss

Epping was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles, falling 59-13. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Eagles are ranked 30th).

Epping's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Epping has already played their next match (against Farmington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Portsmouth Christian Academy will head out to face off against Newmarket at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newmarket's defense has only allowed 19.3 points per game this season, so Portsmouth Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
