Basketball Recap: Shaw Comes Up Short

Shaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 77-7 loss at the hands of the Warrensville Heights Tigers. The match marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shaw's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Warrensville Heights, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Shaw Cardinals face off against the Euclid Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensville Heights, they will welcome Lorain at 2:00 p.m. on January 18th.
