Nuview Bridge had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nuview Bridge was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 21-25, 25-19.

Alan C paced Nuview Bridge's offense, picking up 18 kills. C got some help from Junior B and his 34 assists. C was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Nuview Bridge's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Desert Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As for Desert Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against San Jacinto Valley Academy on the 18th.
