Basketball Game Preview: Oak Creek Knights vs. Racine Case Eagles

Oak Creek is 2-8 against Racine Case since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Oak Creek Knights will challenge the Racine Case Eagles at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Oak Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matches.

Last Tuesday, Oak Creek came up short against Racine Park and fell 86-79. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Panthers are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Racine Case challenged Indian Trail on Tuesday. Racine Case enjoyed a cozy 77-59 victory over Indian Trail. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

Oak Creek's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Racine Case, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Oak Creek strolled past Racine Case in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 71-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oak Creek since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
